Event Summary
This course will explore how a Utility’s Digital Strategy supports effective operations and safety throughout utility operations. We will discuss common components of digital strategies across the utility industry such as data improvement, advanced analytics and AI, integrated enterprise data systems, and the introduction of emerging technologies. We will then explore the potential value and impact of those aspects in various operating groups, as well as key considerations for operations managers and leaders who are looking to leverage their organization’s digital strategy to support their group’s operational and safety goals.
Attendees will receive 1 Professional Development Hour (PDH) upon completion.

As Vice President of Digital Transformation, Ellie is responsible for aligning ENTRUST’s operations and technology to foster innovation and efficiency. Ellie holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Masters in Data Science, Specializing in Artificial Intelligence from Northwestern University. She applies her experience in gas engineering design, GIS data strategy and system design, and advanced analytics to address the emerging challenges facing the engineering and utility industries. Her passion is aligning people, processes, and technology to implement innovative solutions and solve problems effectively. She continues to learn and contribute to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University for a Network Science course.
