Liz Valsamidis | ERM

Liz Valsamidis is a Principal Consultant based in ERM’s Pittsburgh, PA office. With 18+ years of experience in communications and public affairs, Liz is skilled at building and managing effective stakeholder outreach and public participation programs. She has spearheaded the development of the award-winning ERM Virtual Meeting Room product and related virtual engagement programs. To support complex influencer identification and social risk mitigation programs, she leads the identification and use of new technology and data visualization tools.  While leading a global team of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement professionals, Liz continues to support a variety of diverse and often controversial projects across a variety of sectors and industries.

Prior to joining ERM, Liz spent 10 years with public relations and advertising agencies, where she worked with clients to plan and implement corporate communications, reputation management and traditional public relations campaigns.

Josie Wilson | HDR

Josie Wilson, an HDR Strategic Communications Director and a “Top 40 Under 40” Journal of Commerce recipient, has over twenty years of experience overseeing integrated and multi-channel communication campaigns in domestic and international markets. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies and is award-winning for her strategic communications and virtual stakeholder engagement in the oil and gas industry. In her spare time, she teaches strategic management and business communications at a local university and freelances as a motivational speaker and leadership trainer for clients.
