The Fun Stuff
Be sure to join us on Monday, September 13th for a day full of fun activities offering a chance to connect with industry peers in a relaxed setting. After your choice of a scramble-style golf tournament open to beginners and seasoned pros alike at the Falcon Head Golf Club, or a Lone Star Riverboat cruise on Austin’s Colorado River, new attendees are encouraged to visit the Newbie Reception. Finish off the evening with Bat-ter Up, SGA! as we take advantage of one of Austin’s most exciting natural phenomena and venture out on a walking tour to watch Austin’s native bats take a sunset flight from the nearby Congress Avenue Bridge.
Keynote speaker Angela John, Williams Companies’ Director of Business Development, will kick off a packed two days of learning with An Industry in Transition on Tuesday, September 14th. This opening seminar will explore the innovative, out-of-the-box thinking that has driven Williams to integrate renewable energy sources into conventional natural gas transportation and processing operations in pursuit of net zero by the year 2050.
Themes of sustainability and innovation are the common threads through the conference’s 18 additional learning sessions, including industry-forefront topics ranging from ESG to Drone Technology, from NEPA to Stakeholder Engagement, and from Methane Compliance to Historic Landscapes.
