The Corporate Services Section Managing Committee provides forums for member companies to learn, develop and share their best practices to enhance corporate functions.
OUR MISSION
SGA’s Distribution Operations & Engineering Section (DOES) Managing Committee provides a forum for Operations Executives from member utilities to share ideas and best practices in the safe and efficient operation of natural gas distribution systems.
DOES consists of customer experience executives from member utilities who are strategic thinkers, leaders and decision makers within our respective companies.
DOES provides educational and networking opportunities to industry peers through our roundtable at the SGA Management Conference, oversees the activities of four subcommittees focused on specific areas of the customer experience and provides guidance to SGA staff on appropriate areas of focus for the association.
The committee meets in person at planning meetings, conferences, and periodically by conference call.

SGA’s Field Service Operations Committee shapes a discussion for operations supervisors and above, increasing a network for peer to peer discussions and expanding a body of knowledge with other natural gas companies.
Who We Are? Natural gas utility operations supervisors, managers and above.
What We Do? The Committee focuses on best practices for managing a safe and effective field operations team.
Where We Meet? The Field Service Operations Committee meets on monthly conference calls, at an onsite planning meeting, and holds a roundtable as part of Natural Gas Connect.

What We Do? Build a community within our peer group to engage in dialogue and facilitate the exchange of information.

What We Do? Provide networking and educational opportunities to industry peers through awards programs, best practice sharing and sessions at the Distribution Engineering Roundtable

Who We Are? Natural gas utility operations supervisors, managers, directors, etc.
What We Do? Build a community within our peer group to engage in dialogue and facilitate the exchange of information.
Where We Meet? The Distribution Regulatory Compliance Committee meets on monthly conference calls, and plans a roundtable at SGA’s three regional conferences.
SGA’s Regional Directors & Managers Committee works to identify and share best practices that will drive operational excellence with a particular focus on leadership development.
Who We Are? Operations managers and directors from across the natural gas industry.
What We Do? Provide networking and educational opportunities to industry peers through best practice sharing and the Regional Directors & Managers Roundtable.
Where We Meet? The Regional Directors & Managers committee meets on monthly conference calls, at an onsite planning meeting, and holds a roundtable as part of Natural Gas Connect.
