SGA Natural Gas Association is proud to recognize Brandi Price and Kristin Goodspeed of Atmos Energy as our May Chairs of the Month. As Co-Chairs of the Women and Leadership Committee, Brandi and Kristin exemplify what it means to lead with purpose, clarity and a deep commitment to the professional growth of others.
Their leadership style is a powerful example of how effective delegation, team awareness and active engagement can transform a committee into a thriving professional network. Brandi and Kristin approach their work with a strong understanding of each committee member’s role and strengths, ensuring that tasks are shared thoughtfully and that everyone has an opportunity to contribute meaningfully.
At every meeting, they create an environment of energy and inclusion. Their members show up eager to participate, present and grow. This culture of engagement has not only led to high attendance and participation but has also inspired committee members to step into new roles as trainers, presenters and advocates within the SGA community.
By regularly spotlighting member expertise, encouraging presentations and consistently promoting SGA training and conferences, Brandi and Kristin have laid the groundwork for ongoing professional development that reaches far beyond their own committee. Several members of the Women and Leadership Committee have now delivered All-Access trainings and spoken at SGA conferences. The committee’s recent “open floor” model has become a launching pad for future contributors across SGA programs.
Their leadership has also played a key role in shaping the 2025 Women’s Symposium, having developed the full slate of session subjects, ensuring the event reflects the real needs and interests of women leaders across the industry.
Brandi and Kristin’s leadership is a clear example of what it looks like to bring SGA’s mission to life. Through their committee work, they’ve built a space where members can connect, grow and lead, helping shape a stronger, more dynamic future for the natural gas industry.
