Event Overview
This course is intended to give a basic level of education concerning the different types of anaerobic digestion feedstocks and ways the industry captures and processes the gas. There are many different types of biogas feedstocks available, and the way we handle and process them will differ based on their characteristics. Similarly, there are a multitude of different technologies available with which the industry can achieve success in anaerobic digestion. Special attention must be given to having the right project set up to ensure that the biogas will be captured efficiently and upgraded appropriately to allow for reception into a pipeline by a utility or midstream company for sale to consumers.
Attendees will receive 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH) upon completion.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Identify and discuss different biogas feedstocks and their key characteristic differences
- Selecting an appropriate anaerobic digestion technology to fit the feedstock
- Selecting and appropriate gas upgrading technology to allow for injection of product RNG into a pipeline for sale to consumers
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This presentation is intended to speak to pipeline operators, project developers, financial specialists, and engineering professionals in the natural gas industry.
