The LINK Q3 2022

Today people are making very different choices about where they work, where they spend their money, and how they spend their time. In every conversation, meeting, or email, we are accumulating or losing emotional capital, building relationships, and making connections. While no single exchange is guaranteed to change a company’s or industry’s trajectory, any single conversation can.

Linking, people, ideas, and information is more than a catchy tagline. It’s our north star. It clarifies our focus on serving the unique needs of our members—members of all generations.

How is Southern Gas Association helping to close communication gaps and cash in on the world’s most valuable currency, connection? We are offering training on topics that help build connections and enrich relationships:

If conversations are the lifeblood of our most important relationships, it is interesting that we often measure success by an accumulation of titles, achievements, or the bottom line. Instead, what if we looked at each conversation as an opportunity to move us toward or away from our business and life goals. For us as natural gas professionals, our industry will succeed, or gradually fail, one conversation at a time.

In this issue of The LINK, we discuss the role natural gas can play in the decarbonization of our economy and its impact worldwide, introduce the re-rostering of SGA committees and share a pipeline safety white paper from Dynamic Risk.

Thank you for your support, your time and your belief in our mission to link people, ideas and information.
