What happens when employees decide to give back together? At Southern Star, the answer was Southern Star Cares — fueling $186,000 in support for local nonprofits. From delivering hot meals to seniors to equipping volunteer firefighters, their team proved that care is powerful when it’s shared.
Some challenges seem impossible — until a team refuses to give up. Williams faced decades of failed attempts to cross the Coosa River. This time, persistence paid off. Their successful drill not only expanded pipeline capacity, it opened the way for cleaner energy across communities.
In the chaos after Baltimore’s Key Bridge collapse, BGE teams worked day and night. Their priority: protect lives and keep 165,000 customers safe. Three months later, the pipeline was fully restored and the port reopened — a story of resilience that shows what’s possible when people pull together.
Imagine building a 670-km pipeline through mountains, rivers, and a global pandemic — with thousands of people counting on you to stay safe. That’s the story of TC Energy’s Coastal GasLink team. Through their Extraordinary Legacy Initiative, safety became everyone’s responsibility. After 57 million work hours, they achieved something remarkable: zero fatalities.
