Training Policy on Meeting Assistants & Group Participation

To protect the value, confidentiality, and integrity of our training programs, the SGA Natural Gas Association does not permit the use of external meeting assistant tools (including those that record, transcribe, or summarize content) during instructor-led training webinars.

SGA’s course content is proprietary and designed specifically for individual learning experiences. Third-party tools that capture classroom dialogue or materials may compromise both participant privacy and the security of our content. Additionally, these tools operate under their own privacy and data handling policies, which do not align with SGA’s confidentiality standards. It is also more member-centric in tone.

To ensure a secure and respectful learning environment, participants must disable or remove any AI notetakers, recording bots, or meeting assistants before joining an SGA webinar.

Please also note that registrations are for individual use only and are not intended for group viewing in conference rooms or shared settings. If your organization would like to host a group, we’d be happy to accommodate—please contact us to request a group rate and discuss the best options for your team.
