Supply Chain Management Conference

Sponsored in part by Northeast Gas Association

Supply Chain Management Conference

February 20-22, 2019

Point Clear, AL

Grand Hotel Point Clear Resort & Spa

This one of a kind annual meeting brings supply chain professionals from natural gas midstream, pipeline, and distribution companies together with businesses who provide goods and services to the industry. Educational sessions and information sharing focus on strategic supply chain and project development challenges impacting natural gas operators, while conference receptions and dinners provide opportunities for informal discussions and relationship building.

Keynote Speaker: Joel Zeff, Workplace Energy Expert, Author of Make The Right Choice and Improv Humorist

Joel Zeff creates energy. He is a dynamic speaker, improvisational humorist and author. His interactive performances invite members of the audience to participate in hilarious improvisational exercises that illustrate Joel's central message: That organizations and Joel Zeffindividuals should CELEBRATE everyday successes to increase collaboration, productivity, passion and innovation.

Since 1997, Joel has inspired audiences from Wells Fargo to Samsung to KPMG and even the IRS. Yes, the IRS. Joel is a masterful public speaker and a nationally renowned motivator, lifelong humorist and improvisational actor.

His career is a search for fun and passion. He quickly realized the importance of both at his first jobs delivering the hometown newspaper and cleaning up trash at a suburban movie theater.

It’s hard to have fun and stay passionate at work during stressful times. Your employees build stress after each media report about economic challenges. Business today means surviving and thriving during a merger, layoff or the all-encompassing “restructuring.” How do managers continue to motivate and energize employees during difficult times? Managers must help employees stay in the game; work in the moment; and take ownership of their happiness.

What People Are Saying About Our Conference…

I attended my first SGA Supply Chain Roundtable February 2012. I left with a wealth of knowledge and numerous contacts that I have called on over the years. After my initial conference, I could not wait to get back to the office and begin to implement some of the things I learned. The topics we covered and the conversations with new Supply Chain friends from my industry made this perhaps the best, most amazing, unforgettable, and exciting training I have ever experienced. Join us and invite a co-worker. They will thank you! (SGA ROCKS!)

– Ann-Marie Stanford, SPIRE

Not knowing what to expect, I signed up for the Southern Gas Association conference last July. The people I met were discussing supply chain for the energy industry – EXACTLY what I needed to help me improve support for my customers. The personal work experiences they shared with me, and the presentations throughout the conference, were inspirational. Not only did I learn so much at this conference I made business friendships that will last forever. With this type of networking, I am able to consult one of my business friends with issues or questions I have and receive some great feedback. Come join us, and meet me, Devon.
