The Texas Gas Association, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1974 by a group of municipalities, already meeting with each other, who felt that an organization would serve as a means to address and solve their mutual problems in a more efficient manner. From that beginning, the Association has added Investor-owned utilities, Transmission Members, Master Meter Operators and Associate Members who supply goods and services to the industry.
