Keynote Speaker:  Jack Uldrich - Global Futurist, Speaker, Author

Jack Uldrich is a well-­‐recognized global futurist, speaker, and author of eleven books, including a number of award-­‐winning best sellers. He is a frequent speaker on technology, change management and leadership and has addressed hundreds of corporations, associations and not-­‐for-­‐profit organizations on five continents. He regularly makes television appearances on the Science Channel’s “FutureScape” program and the Discovery Channel show “Inside Out,” and is a frequent guest on major media outlets, including CNN, CNBC and National Public Radio.  Jack is also an ongoing contributor on emerging technologies and future trends for a number of publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Wired Magazine and BusinessWeek.

Jack is a former naval intelligence officer and Defense Department official. He previously served as the director of the Minnesota Office of Strategic and Long-­‐Range Planning. His most recent book is Foresight 20/20: A Futurist Explores the Trends Transforming Tomorrow and his forthcoming book is Business as Unusual: How to Future-­‐Proof Yourself Against Tomorrow’s Transformational Trends, Today.

David Holt has served as President of Consumer Energy Alliance since January 2006.  David has almost 30 years of experience working for state and federal agencies and Congress, and directing outreach and advocacy efforts.  David founded what became HBW Resources in 2005 in order to provide counsel and guidance to companies regarding governmental and industry energy initiatives, including issues related to energy security, exploration and production, advanced technologies, air quality and refining.  Previously, David served as Vice President of Government Affairs for Hart Energy Services; Senior Legal & Energy Counsel to Chairman James E. Nugent of the Texas Railroad Commission; Counsel to the House Judiciary Committee; and in public affairs to the U.S. Department of State.

He currently serves as President of Consumer Energy Alliance, a trade association that focuses on expanding the dialogue between the energy sector and the rest of the economy. With more than 280 corporate members and 450,000-plus individual members representing every sector of the U.S. economy, Consumer Energy Alliance has become the “voice of the energy consumer.

Tampa Bicycle Tour

  • On the Tampa by Bike “City Showcase Bike Tour” you will explore many of Tampa’s notable locations including: Riverwalk, Downtown, Old Hyde Park, Bayshore Blvd, Harbor Island, and more! Along the way you will see and learn a bit about the cities rich history. This is a leisurely ride aboard a comfortable 7 speed cruiser bike. Helmet, water bottle, and lots of fun included!

  • Tour will last 2.5-3 hours and led by Tampa By Bike.
  • Registration $65 per person
