Workshop Scope

This 1 1/2-day workshop takes you through the advanced design process for specific topics as addressed in the list included here. Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of all elements related to the design of these specific components and the process associated with planning and performing the actual tasks during construction. In addition, time will be spent in this workshop on practical application of principles learned during the workshop.

Workshop Goals

  • Recognition of the importance of good project design requirements

  • The advanced knowledge you need to design and specify components and equipment for job specific tasks and work

  • Engineers that have already taken the SGA Transmission Pipeline Design Workshop

    • It is recommended that those that have not taken this workshop should have a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience prior to taking the workshop

  • Engineers responsible for pipeline design or providing support to Field Operations

  • Managers responsible for pipeline design, project management, or operations & maintenance support

  • Consulting engineering firms who provide technical services and products to the gas pipeline industry

Day 1:  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Day 2:  8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

  • Non-member: $1,150

  • Fee includes breakfast, breaks, lunches and all meeting materials

  • Registration for both the Horizontal Directional Drilling and Tapping & Stopping workshops will result in a 10% discount applied during the registration process.
