MEET THE SPEAKERS

Samantha Howard

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline

Samantha Howard is a Senior Organizational Development Specialist at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline. Samantha worked for over a decade in the electric utility industry before transitioning over to natural gas in early 2019. Then in 2021 she embarked on a career in organizational development primarily focused on professional development programs, presentations and developing material for women to be successful in their career.  In 2016, she received her Master’s degree in Management from Brescia University. Then in the spring of 2021, she completed a “Virtual Instructional Design Certification” through the Association for Talent Development and in the fall of 2021 a “Women in Leadership” certificate program from Cornell University. She is an active member of Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky and has volunteered as a foster home for over sixteen years. She’s also the mom to two beautiful girls and has been happily married to her husband Casey Howard for over thirteen years.

 

Emily Rogers

TC Energy

Emily Rogers is the Director of Gas Control and Planning for the East Assets of TC Energy’s U.S. Natural Gas organization. Emily’s education includes an Industrial Engineering degree from Clemson University, an MBA from the University of South Carolina, and Professional Engineering certifications in both South Carolina and West Virginia.

With almost 20 years in the energy industry and over a decade of that time at TC Energy, Emily has experience in many areas of the natural gas and electric business, including Commercial, Project Execution, Advanced Data Analytics, Integrity, and Reliability. In addition, she also spent time at Columbia Pipeline Group, Dominion, and Duke Energy. Emily has a passion for our energy future and is excited about what it holds for all of us in the energy evolution.

In addition to work, Emily volunteers as a Board Member at the West Virginia YWCA, the Scholarship Board at The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, and the Women and Leadership Committee for the Southern Gas Association.  She also loves spending time with her husband, Keary, and three children, Thomas, William, and Allie Grace.
