Event Details
This course is for beginners in AI and prompt engineering. It will provide an introduction and overview of prompt engineering basics and how to apply basic through advanced prompt engineering principles to effectively work with large language models like ChatGPT. Attendees will also learn how to frame problems and prompt engineer to produce more trustworthy results from Generative AI.
The second half of this course will cover Generative AI models and provide an overview of Generative AI applications and how they can maximize output and efficiency.
Includes 2 10-minute breakout room exercises.
Attendees will receive 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH) upon completion.

Meet the Instructor
Francesca Valente
Director of Learning, Southern Gas Association
Background: MA in Anthropology, University of Pennsylvania, Certified Scrum Master, current EDD doctoral student in Educational Technology.
Since 2007, Francesca has been working in the education sector in curriculum design and development, with a heavy emphasis on curriculum design and technology. Francesca has conducted research and lectured on digital education strategy via virtual exhibitions for the University of Pennsylvania.
