Scheduling 101 is an opportunity to gain experience in the basics of Natural gas Scheduling. The class will go over pipeline electronic bulletin board, the basics nominations, confirmations, allocations, and capacity releases elements. This simple straight forward class will allow someone with little natural gas scheduling experience or knowledge to get a better understanding elements of scheduling.

Attendees will receive 2 Professional Development Hours (PDH) upon completion.

Meet Your Instructor

Brady Gould
Manager, Natural Gas Scheduling | Duke Energy


Mr. C. Brady Gould has been Natural Gas Scheduling Manager of Natural Gas Business Unit (NGBU) of Duke Energy since March 1, 2018. As Manager of Natural Gas Scheduling, Mr. Gould ensures the timely, accurate and valid deliveries of over 387 million dekatherms of gas is supplied to 5 different states on 9 pipelines and utilizing 14 different storage facilities in order to meet the needs of over 1.5 million customers. In addition, Mr. Gould for the past three years has led the NGBU project to replace 5 Legacy Commercial Gas Supply applications used by Accounting, Billing, Scheduling, Trading, Contract Management and Transportation Customers into one, all encompassing, application.

Prior joining the NGBU, Mr. Gould worked as a Senior Natural Gas Scheduler for Piedmont Natural Gas from 2013 to 2018 and at Hess Corporation from 2004 to 2013.

Mr. Gould received his Bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State University in 1993. Following graduation became the Assistant Coach of the University of New Hampshire Men’s Rowing and then Rutgers University Lightweight Men’s Rowing. Mr. Gould served as a Captain in United States Marine Corps 1998 – 2004.
