Event Overview
Over the past 10 years energy policy has taken a more prominent role in national, state, and local politics. As this trend continues to play out in 2024, this course will look at the key energy, environmental, and economic policies that will be discussed in Washington, in state capitals, and city halls. Participates will discuss the issues, the political landscape, and the importance of having our industry and our partners engaged in these debates.

Daniel Lapato

Dan Lapato has more than 15 years of technical, policy and project management experience. His current role as Associate VP of State Affairs with the American Gas Association has given him the skills to manage, grow and represent businesses and non-profit organizations. Lapato has cultivated relations with federal, state, and local elected officials, trade organizations and other non-governmental organizations. His professional career has allowed him to develop solutions and strategies to influence outcomes and establish long-term professional relationships.
