Event Overview
This course will discuss long-term policy developments in the US natural gas industry, focusing on the recent “Pause” in LNG Exports by the Biden Administration and the impact of Government policies on gas supply. It will also discuss global issues of supply and demand, contract issues, and mechanisms to avoid the risk of non-delivery, force majeure, and even damage and risk mitigation clauses. It is an overview of the author’s experience of how to avoid contractual disputes, losses, or even litigation or arbitration on key supply and demand issues that arise in the natural gas industry, including when external forces cause rapid change.
Attendees will receive 1 Professional Development Hour (PDH) upon completion.
