Event Summary
This introductory course is designed for professionals who are new to the natural gas industry or looking to broaden their technical knowledge. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the different types of gas compressors and how they operate, with a focus on the two most widely used in the industry, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors. The course highlights key components, rating criteria, and practical considerations, while exploring real-world applications across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. Through industry examples and comparisons, attendees will leave with a strong foundation in compressor technology and its critical role in natural gas systems.
Attendees will receive 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH) upon completion.
