Samantha Howard
Sr. Organizational Development Specialist | Southern Star
Samantha Howard is a Senior Organizational Development Specialist at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline. Samantha worked for over a decade in the electric utility industry before transitioning over to natural gas in early 2019. in 2021 she embarked on a career in organizational development primarily focusing on professional development programs, leadership training and developing material for women to be successful in their career. In 2016, she received her Master of Science in Management degree from Brescia University. in the spring of 2021, she completed a “Virtual Instructional Design Certification” through the Association for Talent Development and in the fall of 2021 a “Women in Leadership” certificate program from Cornell University. Samantha launched Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline’s first employee resource group summer of 2021 titled WING (Women in Natural Gas). The group has held conferences, networking events and multiple professional development opportunities for the members. In 2022, she obtained her Training Manager Certification from Langevin Learning. In October of 2023, she received the ALLY Energy Professional GRIT award for her ongoing efforts in the DEI space. She’s the mom to two beautiful girls and has been happily married to her husband Casey Howard for over fifteen years. She is an active member of Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky and has volunteered as a foster home for over twenty years.
