Event Summary
With a large number of LNG peakshaver facilities reaching their 50th year in service and with natural gas peakshaving operations remaining an essential component in natural gas distribution operations, many facilities are facing replacement projects. This course will provide an overview of replacement and upgrade projects being performed by LNG peakshaver facilities. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of when and why projects are being performed, pre-upgrade stop gaps that can be performed before a full replacement is needed, and lessons learned when planning for and executing these projects.
Types of replacement projects that will be discussed include LNG Tanks, Control buildings, Boiloff Gas Compressors, Vaporizers, and Liquefiers.
Attendees will receive 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH) upon completion.
