Mike Poland

Mike Poland is the Managing Director responsible globally for Digital Asset Management and Digital Plant within Accenture Strategy and the Industry X.0 practice and is based in Houston, TX. Throughout his career, he has had experience with projects in manufacturing and engineering functions across multiple industries and focuses on business strategy, maintenance & reliability, operations management, and data science.

Mike is also part of Accenture’s Digital Plant executive steering committee that focuses on solutions that bring analytical capabilities with intuitive dashboards and predictive analytical models and applications, to enable proactive action making through insight to action in a plant environment.

Prior to Accenture, Mike was the Vice President of Engineering for Life Cycle Engineering, the Life Cycle Engineer for the Program Executive Office for Nuclear Aircraft Carriers, a Senior Systems Engineer for QED Systems, and is retired from the US Navy.

Mike is a Certified BSI ISO 55001 Auditor, Certified Change Management Professional, Certified Reliability Leader, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional and holds a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University.
