Feb Post 5 - "GasLand" Documentary is Misleading

Facebook, Linkedin & Instagram

The documentary “GasLand” has an iconic (and inaccurate) scene: a homeowner blames fracking for their tap water catching fire. This film is blowing smoke. It wasn’t fracking, but poor home construction—the homeowner’s water well was drilled into a naturally occurring pocket of methane and improperly vented. This debunked myth may have caught fire in anti-gas conversations, but it deserves to go up in flames.  #innovation #naturalgas #cleanenergyfuture #expandtheenergyconversation #gasiskey #gasisnow
