Voting is open to the Accredited Representative for each Associate member in good standing.
Voting is open from June 28 – July 24. The results will be announced on August 1, 2023.
The following Associate Members in good standing have applied for the four open positions to serve on the associate section. The term will be January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026. Please select your top four from the following six candidates:

Why would you like this position?
Industry betterment /improvement. I believe Associate members have a critical stake in this industry and organization. We need to engage and empower our associate members to speak up and have their voices heard.
What talents and/or perspectives can you bring to the committee, committee activities, and committee events?
Leadership and engagement. I have diverse skills attained through a lengthy and varied work experience. Capable leader open to new perspectives and ideas.

Why would you like this position?
To help support and promote the use of natural gas as a safe, reliable, and abundant source of American energy. Also to be able to network with industry professionals and help broaden their opportunity to expand their network of peers as well.
What talents and/or perspectives can you bring to the committee, committee activities, and committee events?
As a member of multiple other associations, I feel I could help bring a balanced view to SGA. With EGW, we have a strong network of SMEs that we could leverage to support SGA needs.

I’ve worked with SGA since I’ve been in the industry. Before, it was organizing the backend of exhibits with Miller Pipeline, but now I have attended many of the Natural Gas Connect shows over the last few years. I also worked with SGA on a few projects for Artera for social media content.

I am proud to be a member of both the American Gas Association (AGA) and the MEA. With a decade of experience in the industry, I have had the privilege of working from the contractor’s perspective, where I have played a crucial role in shaping and effectively communicating the inspiring narratives of numerous exceptional companies within the industry. These companies, in turn, provide invaluable support to our utility customers. My work predominantly occurs behind the scenes, ensuring that the stories of these remarkable industry players are thoughtfully crafted and effectively shared. By leveraging my expertise, I contribute to highlighting the vital contributions and innovative solutions these companies bring to the utility sector.
Why would you like this position?
I am eager to serve as part of this committee because I strongly believe that having a seat at the table will enable me to serve as an advocate for this esteemed organization and effectively communicate the compelling story of our industry. With my extensive background in communications, public relations, and marketing, I bring a unique skill set that complements the expertise of other committee members. In today’s landscape, it is crucial to align our objectives and proactively engage with our stakeholders. By leveraging my skills and experience, I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully to the committee’s goals and objectives, ultimately driving greater awareness, understanding, and support for our organization and the industry we represent.
What talents and/or perspectives can you bring to the committee, committee activities, and committee events?
As mentioned above, a different perspective and background but also the contractor/operator side of the business to work alongside other industry professionals to align goals with SGA and the industry.
