The LINK Q4 2022

In the past four years, SGA has worked to build a solid and resilient association.  We have redesigned and created new programs and activities that align with the goals outlined in our strategic framework presented to the Board of Directors in November 2019. Everything we are doing is designed to support at least one of our three strategic objectives: to deeply understand and serve the needs of natural gas leaders; to build meaningful community through omni-channel platforms and events; and to strengthen technical and leadership pathways for natural gas professionals.

The following are just a sampling of the programs, initiatives or developments deployed that we believe add value to SGA’s culture and your member experience:

  • Inclusion & Diversity Council
  • Energy Evolution Programming
  • Core Curriculum
  • Collaboration with YPP
  • Redesigned SGA Volunteer Experience
  • Innovative Tech Forum

Reflecting on the progress of the past four years, I am proud of what the SGA team has accomplished. I am optimistic about the future and the exciting journey ahead. We will continue to work with a sense of urgency to accelerate our strategic goals and create sustainable near-and long-term growth for the SGA community.

In this issue of The LINK, we discuss embracing sustainability, emerging technologies, PHMSA Gas Gathering Rule and looking forward to a circular economy.

As always, thank you for your investment and engagement in SGA. Onward!
