Gas Identifier Icon
The purpose of the Gas Icon is to build awareness
for the natural gas industry through a common graphic element. The Icon
provides a mechanism through which the industry can develop a brand
identity for the natural gas industry and build awareness of the advantages
of natural gas.
The Icon has been developed in three separate messages:
1. Gas: The Natural Advantage®
2. Gas Advantage Home®
3. Gas Advantage Dealer®
There is also a unifying theme, which can be used
in conjunction with the gas icon: "When You Have a Natural Advantage,
Use It. Gas. The Natural Advantage"®
Who Can Use The Gas Icon?
The icon may be used by both SGA member companies
and non-SGA member companies, including LDC’s, pipelines and other
allies to the natural gas industry. Use of the Gas Icon is strictly
voluntary. The Gas Icon was designed in such a way that it can be used
either as your company’s primary logo or in conjunction with an
existing logo to increase customer awareness for natural gas in a consistent
way.
SGA has received trademark status on all versions of the Gas Icon and
the unifying theme. To obtain a copy of the graphic standards for the
Gas Identifier Icon, please contact Debbie Krawzik at dkrawzik@southerngas.org.
Questions regarding graphic standards and the use of the gas identifier
icon can also be directed toLarry Farthing at lfarthing@southerngas.org
