This one of a kind annual meeting brings together supply chain professionals from pipeline company's, mid-stream and LDCs, along with companies who provide goods and services to the natural gas industry.   Presentations focus on strategic supply chain and project development issues impacting the industry,  while group receptions and dinners provide opportunities for informal discussions and networking.

  • rSteel / Pipe / Metal Outlook - a panel of senior industry executives will provide insight into the pipe/steel market, and share their outlook for pricing and availability.  This outstanding panel will include:  Roy Platz, Director of Marketing, Arcelor Mittal USA;    Hunter McDonald, Product Marketing Manager, Nucor; and Chuck Schmitt, Vice President, Southern Business Unit, SSAB America
  • US and Global Economic Outlook - Guest Speaker:  Jeff Dietrich Institute for Trend Research  ITR has a proven track record of forecasting the economy.  This will be the 3rd SGA conference for their firm, which includes presentations by Alan Beailieu at the 2009 Supply Chain Conference, and his brother Brian at the 2008 Management Conference.
  •  The Role and Impact of New Technology in Supply Chain - Guest Speakers:  John Adams, Vice President, Supply Chain, Spectra Energy ; and Samir Khushalani, Partner, KPMG – National Sourcing and Procurement

IIR is a Bentek Energy vendor partner.  They collect a massive amount of data on the supply side of the pipeline and related natural gas projects in the US.  Mr. Henry will share the latest information on the status of gas projects, shale production growth, and where capital dollars will be going in the future.

GAS COMPANY CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:

$595 for the first registrant per company. Up to 4 additional registrants per gas company may register at no additional charge.   The registration fee includes 2 dinners,  2 cocktail receptions, 2 breakfasts, 3 refreshment breaks, and one lunch.

HOTEL INFORMATION

Westin Savannah Harbor, One Resort Drive, Savannah GA 31421, is the site of the 2010 Conference. For online reservations, click  Southern Gas Association Online Reservations;   or call Westin Reservations at 912-201-2000 and request the special Southern Gas conference rate of $185.

Hotel Cutoff:   Please make your reservation by February 1, 2010. 

The resort normally charges a $19 per day resort fee.  However,  that fee is included in your room rate for the Conference.  It covers free in-room internet access;  self parking;  on-resort shuttle;  and fitness club access including workout room, steam room and sauna at the resort's Greenbrier Spa.

GOLF

The Club at Savannah Harbor is the home to the PGA Champions Tour Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf.
The beautiful Troon-managed course was designed by Robert Cupp and Sam Snead.

Gas company attendees will receive a discounted fee for the SGA tournament scramble of only $95, which includes cart, green fee, range balls and box lunch.
