Topics for the 2008 Roundtable
The Globalization of Natural Gas
This panel will examine the current global activity in the natural gas marketplace and project the impact over the next 5-10 years.
Pipeline and Storage Infrastructure Update
The natural gas industry continues to undergo significant infrastructure additions, including unprecidented pipeline construction and gas storage development. This panel will address the status of pipeline and storage projects and their impact on gas flows, seasonal spreads and basis differentials.
FERC Enforcement and Compliance
FERC is proposing new rules on midstream asset management and the secondary market. FERC wants all companies to have good compliance programs in place. This panel explores these issues and the potential pitfalls ahead for companies that fail to comply.
Climate Change Issues and Green Initiatives
Carbon / CO2 concerns and proposed legislation will have an impact on the natural gas industry. This impact will likely include increased demand on natural gas for power generation. How will gas companies respond, both as good corporate citizens and as providers of the cleanest, most climate-friendly fuel source? The panel will address widely varying views on this timely topic.
