The 2009 SGA Environmental Inspection and Construction Compliance Workshop February 3-5 in San Antonio is designed for both new and experienced environmental inspectors. If you've attended this Workshop in the past, this would be a good opportunity to review current issues. If you're a new inspector, this workshop will help you identify your role as the environmental inspector and improve your skills.
NEW IN 2009....There will be a full day allotted for each track so you have the opportunity to attend BOTH tracks.
CONSTRUCTION TRACK

New construction or environmental managers who have not
been involved with the construction phase of projects
Seasoned construction or environmental managers who would
like a refresher training

Identify and discuss the roles and responsibilities of
the environmental inspector
Provide an overview of the regulatory and permitting
requirement
Review environmental protection measures for all phases of pipeline construction

Individuals involved in securing permits and approvals
for pipeline projects
Environmental managers, environmental planners, project
managers and engineers
Goals
Discuss current issues of concern and regulatory changes
Learn tips on facilitating cooperation with agencies and operations
Improve coordination and transitions from construction to operations
