1. Regulatory Update
Blaine Keener, PHMSA, will update the group as to regulatory matters, the Clearinghouse audit process, pitfalls to avoid, and an update on a path forward.
You will have the ability to interact with Blaine on this web conference, or send us your questions in advance (Fraser Farmer: ffarmer@southerngas.org)
2. State of Texas Public Awareness Collaborative Program
Presenters: Dan Alderson, Atmos Energy and Jerry Gann, Center Point Energy
This is an innovative approach to Public Awareness compliance. Over forty operators in the State of Texas are collaborating to produce and deliver a state wide pipeline awareness and safety ad campaign (newspaper, radio and television), with a $1.35 M budget in 2007.
Program objectives:
- Meet minimum non-customer/affected public requirements of RP 1162 - Foc on awarenss rather than compliance - At the lowest possible cost with the broadest reach - Includes highest risk audience

3. Collaborative Emergency Responder Training
Jeff Stoolman, Enterprise Product Partner
A turnkey approach to handling ER Training in your state or region that gives operators more control over their program, improves the training, and documents the entire process; it saves time for the operators and the ER.
